I can see the structure now. You have found an appealing design style for this film. Those two things together are good progress. The cuts and general timing of the story are working. I find the animation of the walk into the police station particularly appealing. The animatic just needs filling out with the animation. It is happening. That will happen quickly and with more skill the further you get through it. Bite of small bits and chew through the work.
