Some good things happening here. You experimented with some ruff stick figure ideas. Then acted it out and collected video reference. The thumbnailing after the video reference is much better.
Further ideas would be to collect video reference of pushing a large wheeled object. Actually doing the action rather than acting the action provides even better results.
Film doesn't capture everything that an animator can apply. So the challenge and fun is to futher develop the visual ideas by applying animation principles to the planning stages.
Your small words of encouragement and feedback on your classmates' blogs are good and show the wider collaborative skills that studio and project employers are looking for. People who work well in a team are the first recruited.
