Maya 3D Bean Animation

This was made in maya. I would have liked to work on it a bit more, but ran out of time.

  1. Hi Johnny. Good to see the blog is still firing along. Animation student 3D work is always a mix of partly learning to drive the software and partly learning to solve the animation (using the animation principles). A good process is to use video reference and thumbnail planning. Work at an animation sequence for a while (a set time limit), then move on to a new project. By starting a new project an animator can leave behind problems that were bogging them down and start fresh. They can apply what they learned and in making more animation, learn more.

Have you any mid-year break animation that you can show us? Or have you seen any animation related events or exhibitions that have inspired you?
